Being a Stamford native, I started cutting hair 26 years ago in the back of my mother’s kitchen. Even back then, I had a loyal following, and some of them continue to support my lifelong dream of becoming a barber. After many years of cutting hair, I decided to get my license in the industry. However, due to being a father, husband, and provider for my family, it was extremely hard to meet the requirements of hair school. Five years later, I finished the required hours of the program, took the State Board exam, and passed it.
